Events focused on healthy nutrition in the North Kynouria Municipality’s elementary schools organized by the Prolepsis Institute
On Thursday, June 8, 2017, the Prolepsis Institute held a series of educational events in the schools of the Municipality of North Kynouria for the parents of the students participating in the DIATROFI Program.
Health promotion specialists along with nutritionists informed parents of the benefits related to healthy eating and physical activity not just for the child but for the whole family.
The Municipality of North Kynouria is the first municipality in Greece that has secured daily healthy meals for all elementary students for the 2016-2017 school year, utilizing the matching funds provided by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, founding donor of the DIATROFI Program.
