The international publication, entitled The Power of Collaboration, is dedicated this year to the potential and the power of collaborations.
The international Yearbook contains an article by Professor Athena Linos, Chair of the Department of Hygiene Epidemiology & Medical Statistics at Athens Medical School and President of Prolepsis Institute. The article focuses on the multilateral and developing features of public health and presents several significant interventions of Prolepsis Institute throughout its long history. Additionally, the article highlights the importance of collaboration within the Food Aid and Promotion of Healthy Nutrition Program – DIATROFI, which represents an example of partnerships between enterprises, organisations and social stakeholders. According to Professor Athena Linos, confronting issues that are related to the physical and spiritual development of children is of vital importance, laying the foundation for a viable future and promoting social stability and development.
