Press Conference organized to announce results of the project "Program on Food Aid and Healthy Nutrition - DIATROFI in remote and rural areas"
Prolepsis Institute cordially invites you to the Press Conference for the Implementation of the Program on Food Aid and Healthy Nutrition - DIATROFI in remote and rural areas. The event will take place on Tuesday, May 26th 2015 at 12:00pm in the “Kostis Palamas” building (Akadimias 48 & Sina, Athens).
The Press Conference is being organized as a platform to announce the first results of the project "Program on Food Aid and Healthy Nutrition - DIATROFI in remote and rural areas". The expansion of the DIATROFI Program in remote and rural areas of Greece is funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA Grants Greek NGO Programme “We are all Citizens”. The Bodossaki Foundation is the Fund Operator of this Programme. The Programme aims to strengthen civil society and enhance the contribution of NGOs to social justice, democracy and sustainable development.
The Program on Food Aid and Healthy Nutrition – DIATROFI was implemented on the initiative of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, who is also the founding donor and in cooperation with the Prolepsis Institute. Established in 2012, the program has been operational for four consecutive school years with the additional support of several other donors, in public schools that are situated in underprivileged areas of the country. The Program is under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, Education and Religious Affairs.
