Methodology of the Program

Meals are prepared by carefully selected providers who meet all hygiene standards and follow strict specifications during both the preparation and transportation of meals to schools.

Individually packaged meals are delivered to participating schools, stored in school refrigerators, and distributed to students, typically during the first break.

Our methodology:

  • Addresses food insecurity within the school setting by offering direct support to children and indirect support to parents/guardians—material, social, and psychological.
  • Ensures food safety throughout all stages of preparation and distribution—a fundamental priority of the initiative.
  • Maintains quality control of both food types and nutritional value, ensuring alignment with healthy eating principles and age-specific needs.
  • Applies continuous, systematic, and effective monitoring of all processes, enabling timely problem-solving and the implementation of preventive measures, thus ensuring seamless and controlled meal distribution to all children.
  • Actively involves all stakeholders—students, school directors, teachers, canteen staff, and parents/guardians—fostering collaboration and solidarity.
  • Effectively promotes the adoption of healthy eating habits among students.
  • Educates and informs parents/guardians on issues related to healthy nutrition.
  • Has a developmental dimension, supporting positive educational outcomes such as improved attendance, better academic performance, emotional wellbeing, and the promotion of values like equality and solidarity. It also serves an educational purpose by encouraging participation in food distribution, fostering awareness of food value, and supporting waste management practices.
